Drowning

There were times when I was writing for a course that I felt as if I were drowning. It may have been from the short amount of time I had or had given myself to complete it or the fact that I felt unprepared or unsure of myself when I went to compose it. In either case I believe this is a common feeling to have when diving into a type of writing that you are unfamiliar just as it would likely feel if  you were treading out in the open ocean. Even with the struggles I had with some of these texts, later, from what I had learned from them, I would find myself a stronger writer or even use some of my failures to create new improved versions that far surpasses previous attempts. Here are some prime examples of course work where I was completely over my head at the start but gradually was able to surface safely.
